For this exhibition we partnered with Hyundai Card, GNC Media, and Korean Air. I worked with all of these collaborators to coordinate production needs, construction needs, AV, partnership development, merchandise design and production, architectural design, curatorial design, installation planning, operations, and events.
I was lead designer/producer on this project. I designed the architecture using Rhino and worked closely with Tom, the fabrication team, and the registrar to bring the project together. I worked with Tom to curate the entire show including hundreds of pieces of artwork both new and archival. I lived in Seoul, Korea for the month of April installing this exhibition with the Tom Sachs Team and managed art handler teams and onsite workers. I worked in congruence with an AV production company (AVECS + Blue House Design) for all of our sound and visual needs including a large scale LED screen and scaffolding, and coordinated the production of the exhibition + performance for 10 months with our Korean partners. I communicated all of the architectural and construction needs as well as the operations of the VIP events, merchandise displays, and demonstration audience flows for a successful exhibition opening and performance.
I also coordinated the design and production of ~40 different merchandise designs for the exhibition gift shop. Including a multitude of collaboration products with our external partners. These include Leatherman, Levis, Nike, Caran d’ Ache, and Helinox.
I also had the honor of being chosen to be an Astronaut for the opening exhibition demonstration. A 7 hour performance that utilized Space Program sculptures for a live space mission.
